Beautiful Olivia

A huge reminder to me of how fast our children grow. I had a blast shooting my friend Joanne's little girl yesterday. She is just six months old and I believe that she has had three haircuts already. My son was bald for a year! Thankfully, he now has a gorgeous head of hair at seven and we're into the losing tooth faze.

My BEST friend

My Best friend since we were four years old is the most amazing musician. She is currently working on yet another CD, and we did some experimental shots the other day. I'm only going to post one because more shooting is planned and I want to be able to add her links in my next post. She is such a beautiful woman! Her name is Carrie Johnson. A lot of her previous albums have been made with her sister Libby (also an incredible artist) with the band then being called Twenty Two Brides. Ironic that I end up shooting weddings. I think these two girls would make great "trash the dress" models. I am officially planting the seed!

Caught dreaming

It's pretty tough to be a photographer when your own son won't let you take his picture. I'm Sneaky too, but I can't tell you how many images I have of my son holding his hand in front of the lens. I guess it's tough having someone shove a camera in your face all the time. However, I don't want to miss his childhood and I try to explain to him that he'll be glad for the pictures some day. I love it when I catch him unaware.

Students invited to teachers wedding ceremony

My sons second grade teacher got married recently. She sent her students home with these beautiful invitations to the wedding ceremony. They were all so well behaved even though there was a bit of giggling going on when the minister asked her to wave to her students. It really made them feel special. It was so kind of her to include them, but that's just the way she is. A great teacher! We wish her all the best. Here's a few of my favorite pictures.

Been a while!

Summer always seems so busy and I find myself having to decide what is important , and what can slide for a while. So, that being said, I haven't posted since my friend Leah graduated from High School. We had a blast shooting her getting ready for her senior prom. I'm so proud of her. She is wise way beyond her years and soooo beautiful!
